This notice explains what information Drones R Us receives when you browse the website or send an enquiry, and how we use it.
Website analytics
Google Analytics 4 and our own anonymous daily page counts are optional. Both only start after you choose “Allow analytics” in the consent banner. Our page counts store the date, public page path and total views; they do not store your name, email, IP address or a visitor identifier. We use these counts to see popular pages and trends in our owner dashboard. Google Analytics helps us understand visits, broad device and country information, and traffic sources.
Cookies and identifiers
When you allow analytics, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar identifiers. We disable Google signals and ad-personalisation signals in our website configuration. If you choose “No thanks”, the Analytics tag is not loaded.
Enquiries
If you contact us, we use the details you provide to respond, prepare a quote, and help you select a drone. We do not intentionally send enquiry-form contents, names, email addresses, or phone numbers to Google Analytics.
Orders and Yoco payments
When you start an order, Drones R Us stores the contact, delivery and cart details needed to process and deliver it. Your card details are entered on Yoco’s secure hosted checkout and are not received or stored by this website. We only mark an order as paid after receiving a verified payment notification from Yoco.
Your choices
The analytics choice appears when you open or refresh the website, including on mobile. It stays closed as you move between pages.
